Here are the final results. Day 1 was challenging day for the sailors and the race officer. The first race got underway in a lightish wind. The RO had set a windward leeward course with a gate at the leeward end. The middle of the fleet arrived at the port hand mark in a bunch, at which point the wind failed completely!! The leaders had got round and away, and the backmarkers, seeing the confusion chose to round the starboard mark instead, good move. The second race was abandoned on the second lap as the wind had shifted about 90 degrees. After a short wait whilst the RO relaid the course races 2 and 3 got away without incident. Day 2 started with a steady F3. Several helms had navigation problems for the first race of the day (R4), forgetting to go through the line gate. A slight change of course was required for R5, although, despite relaying the course, the downwind leg was almost achievable in one gybe. Everyone was so keen to get ashore that the start of the last race resulted in a general recall and black flag.
