Website Content Archy Posted - 16/05/2010

We like to encourage our members to submit content for the website but recognise that, other than posting comments in the Forum, itís not always obvious how this can be achieved. Here are some general guidelines for submitting content including photographs and other types of supporting documents.

Website content is arranged in a number of Categories as per the Main Menu above, ranging from Home on the left to Contact on the right.

All Categories other than the Forum are configured to provide read-only content. It follows therefore, that such content can only be posted by our Webmaster or by an Administrator (refer contact details below).

Although Registered Members can post articles to the Forum and can include links to external photographs, the direct inclusion of photographs or files is not permitted. Such items can however be posted by our Webmaster or Administrators.

Details of Events including Notices of Race (NORs), Entry Forms, Location Maps, Accommodation Lists, etc. will normally be posted in the Events section of the website. A dedicated Forum is provided for general discussion about specific events.

If you are hosting an event and would like more information to be added to the dedicated event listing please contact our Sailing Secretary or any member of the Laser 2000 web team as per the contacts below.

We will be pleased to consider adding your photographs to the Website or Forum, but due to the diverse methodologies for storing and referencing images these can only be posted by an Administrator.

Individual photographs can be inserted within relevant topics on the Website or Forum. If you would like to submit photographs for publication on the Forum please contact any member of the Laser 2000 Web Team as per the contacts below.

Collections of photographs relating to specific activities or events may be more suited to the Gallery. If you would like to submit photographs for publication in the Gallery please please contact our Webmaster.

Other Website Articles

If you would like to submit an article for publication on the website we recommend that you make contact with our Webmaster who will provide guidance on possible locations and formats including associated file attachments.
